ABOUT

Inspired by a recent trip to Jamaica, we believe that through an inclusive & immersive experience, we can support communities and protect the planet while bringing stories to the table through food.

 

Having noticed a large amount of plastic pollution on the island of Jamaica, we did extensive research to learn the global effects of plastic waste and have gained a greater understanding of the impact it is having on vital ecosystems, which will soon be completely destroyed unless we begin making effective changes now.

 

 

There is also an imbalance of import to export in Jamaica, with many unhealthy food products being brought onto the island; a place which grows some of the healthiest produce. It's for these reasons that the dishes served will be predominantly plant based and free from eggs, dairy, meat and fish. 

 

 

We want to create an inclusive way to get the conversation started, to encourage a decreased consumption of plastic and consideration of a healthier lifestyle.

 

 

 

 

Ticket sales will be donated to the 'Nuh Dutty Up Jamaica' public education campaign, led by the Jamaica Environment Trust (JET), to protect the Island’s natural environment from plastic waste pollution.
