NUH DUTTY UP JAMAICA
LED BY THE JAMAICA ENVIRONMENT TRUST
oom is more than just a Supper Club. We believe social awareness is important in cultivating a society where our decisions lead to positive changes.
Ticket sales from oom Supper Club, A Modern Take on Jamaican Fare, will go to the 'Nuh Dutty Up Jamaica' public education campaign, which launched in February 2015 and is one component of the Clean Coasts Project, led by the Jamaica Environment Trust (JET) with the support of the Tourism Enhancement Fund (TEF) and the Wisynco Group. We will also be screening the campaigns short film, From Nine Miles to Trench Town: How three Jamaican communities joined Nuh Dutty Up Jamaica.
Nuh Dutty Up Jamaica aims to improve citizens knowledge about the impact of poorly handled waste on public health and the environment, while encouraging personal responsibility for the generation and disposal of waste.
The campaign recently lost a major source of funding and is in need of our support.
